HireJourne for career coaches

They know what they can do.
Help them see where to look.

When a client keeps circling the same companies and job titles, another application may not move the search forward. Give your coaching a researched market map and a concrete next step.

Discuss a client strategyExplore the actual deliverables

A stronger starting point for your work together

Your coaching. A clearer field of possibilities.

Connect your client's experience to companies that could value it, including industries and employers they may never have considered. Bring the reasoning into your sessions, challenge the assumptions, and decide where to focus.

Three ways to use it

Meet your client where the search is stuck.

01

Start with direction.

Give a new engagement a concrete foundation.

  • Unpack the experience behind the résumé.
  • Explore relevant industries and role families.
  • Agree on the first companies to investigate.
02

Add a research offer.

Build company research into your coaching package.

  • Offer a strategy PDF and working tracker.
  • Use the findings in a strategy session.
  • Agree on the scope and price with your client.
03

Restart a stalled search.

Give a client a useful reason to reengage.

  • Revisit a narrow or exhausted target list.
  • Find adjacent markets worth testing.
  • Set a fresh research and outreach plan.

Real strategy. Practical working files.

This anonymized infrastructure case shows how one person's capabilities connect to a broader company market.

01 / Strategy PDF

The thinking behind the search.

  • Career thesis and transferable strengths
  • Target ecosystem and career narratives
  • Priorities and an initial action plan

Use it to structure the conversation.

02 / Excel company tracker

A plan you can put to work.

  • 50 companies in this example, with fit reasoning
  • Clickable company and career-site links
  • Space for research, contacts and follow-ups
Download the example Excel

Use it to track the client's next actions.

Based on a real client strategy with identifying details removed. Company targets are research hypotheses, not confirmed vacancies or a promise of interviews.

Walk through the case step by step

A collaborative client pilot

You guide the client. We support the research.

  1. 01

    Scope one client.

    • Discuss where their search is stuck.
    • Agree on deliverables, price and timing.
    • Collect their background with their knowledge.
  2. 02

    Review the direction.

    • Work through the proposed markets and rationale.
    • Flag missing context and unsuitable targets.
    • Agree on corrections before final delivery.
  3. 03

    Turn insight into action.

    • Use the PDF and Excel tracker in your session.
    • Choose priorities with your client.

A few things to know.

Can I include this in my coaching package?

Yes. We can discuss a strategy for one client as part of your engagement, or a client can inquire directly. Agree on the scope and fees before presenting the combined offer.

Can I help shape the strategy?

The proposed pilot includes a conversation about the client's direction and corrections before final delivery. We'll agree on the review scope when we plan the work together.

Is there a coach subscription or dashboard?

This is a per-client service inquiry. There is no coach subscription or self-service partner dashboard to sign up for.

Does this include recruiter emails or guaranteed jobs?

No. The strategy provides target companies and reasons to investigate them. Recruiter contact enrichment is not included, and current openings need to be verified.
